The Providence Valley Church Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15am until 10:15am.  We start in September and go until May. We don’t meet during June, July or August.  In the summer we collaborate with Covenant Church for Vacation Bible School. V.B.S. is usually a Sunday through Thursday. We meet for two hours in the evenings and then on Thursday evening we have a program. We also encourage our children to attend Bible Camp when they are old enough.          

     Our Sunday School is made up of children from the age of 3 years up to the 6th grade.  Pastor Cheryl starts the time with an opening lesson with the kids.  We then have our teachers teach the music and our regular lesson.  Sometimes we do arts and crafts as part of our Sunday School time. Often times the children help make our church bulletin board with their art projects. We end each session with a snack.  Visitors are always welcome.

      The Sunday School sings once a month at Providence Church.  We also do a Christmas Program in December during one of the church services. 

      Sometimes we do service projects.  We have sent supplies to our troops, sung at the nursing home, given to the food shelf, cards for shut-ins and nursing home residents, donated books during Hurricane Katrina, and sent supplies after the earthquake in Haiti.
